Organised Ride Information
We have regular organised rides and also have open rides for those that can’t get enough.
Please refer to our Calendar for dates and times.
Open rides are on any Sunday when there is no organised ride already planned and are for anyone who turns up. Anyone can lead or tail and is decided on the day.
Ride Starting Points
- Hall road BP Service Station in Skye. Corner of Hall road and Western Port Highway. You can enter from either Hall road or Western Port Highway. {Google Map}
- Pearcedale Village Shopping Centre car park. Baxter-Tooradin Road, Pearcedale. {Google Map}
- Occasionally we might leave from other locations so always check the calendar for updated information the day before the ride.
Ride Leader Information
STEP ONE – Before the ride
If you would like to lead an Organised Ride you must complete the Proposed Ride Form so that after approval the Ride Form information can be added to the Calendar.
There are 3 options available to submit a Proposed Ride Form.
Option 1 : Go to http://rides.morningtonwanderers.org and fill out the online form. –> Link Here
(The password for the “Online Proposed Ride Form” can be obtained from the back page of the newsletter or by contacting the Branch Secretary or Ride Co-ordinator.)
Option 2 : Download the editable PDF form and fill it out, then email it to the Ride Co-ordinator. –> Proposed Ride Form
Option 3 : Proposed Ride Forms are also available at the Saturday Morning Meetups from either the Branch Secretary or the Ride Co-ordinator.

STEP TWO – On the day of the ride
Every rider and every pillion that attends an organised ride must fill out the ride sheet. This sheet is used in case of an emergency and is also used to calculate the results for the end of year branch awards.
The Ride Sheet which is to be filled out at the Ride Starting Point by ALL RIDERS and ALL PILLIONS can be downloaded below.
AFTER THE RIDE YOU MUST GET THE FULLY COMPLETED RIDE SHEET/S TO THE BRANCH SECRETARY ASAP. secretary@morningtonwanders.org
If you are unable to scan or photograph the ride sheets and email them to secretary@morningtonwanderers.org, then you must pass the ride sheets on to the Branch Secretary or Branch President, either straight after the ride or on the following Saturday morning at the Somerville Pub.
It is important that the ride sheet gets to the Branch Secretary ASAP to ensure our ride records can be updated.
