Following is the VIB ride info, which I am planning as Ride Lead for Fri > Sat Feb 7 and 8.

This month the Ulysses VIB Breakfast Club is travelling to the Murchison.Bakeryfor breakfast on the 8th Feb. I will lead a ride via the Yarra Ranges, leaving from the Shell servo 139 Grant Road Baxter (Cnr Grant and Baxter Tooradin Rds) on Friday 7th at 0930hrs and arriving a Murchison around 1500hrs for an overnight stay at The Murchison River Rd Caravan Park. Approx 300 klm. (Morning tea and lunch stops TBA)
We plan to meet up with fellow Ulyssians (elective) that evening for dinner at the Railway Hotel in East Murchison.
The following morning we will meet at the Murchison Bakery for a hearty breakfast at around 0930 and head of around 1130 for our return trip home again via the Yarra Ranges but we will change it up a bit and aim to be back in Pearcedale by 1600hrs.
If you are interested, Birky has posted information on some cabin accommodation, or you can bring or source your own, but options are limited in the actual township.
Either way please advise if intending to attend either or both of Friday Dinner and or Saturday breakfast
Please advise me or Paul Butler of VIB to give the businesses a bit of a guide for their ordering.

Sunday 16th we have the branch Australia Day BBQ at The Briars Mt Martha. An Exclusive BBQ area has been reserved for the branch between the hours 11.00am - 3.00 pm with on site tables and chairs. (Good work Mr Swarbrick). This free event is covered by your $20 voluntary social contribution fee for members who have paid it; $10 for those who haven't. BYO alcohol. Neil will be leading a short ride in the morning to the event leaving Vesbar at 9.30 am.

The inaugural Stony Creek Go-karting Cup 2025
Stands up at 9.30am for a ride down to Stony Creek Go-karts track for this exciting, new event for the Mornington Wanderers! The main event will be 2 x 10 minutes of go-karting action on the longest hire kart track in Victoria. The times from both sessions will be combined to determine the fastest driver overall. The winner will be awarded the perpetual cup.
Details of the ride down and back to be advised.

Port Campbell Overnight ride
Venue: Port Campbell caravan park

I have booked the overnight ride to Port Campbell again for Wed 26/3 to Thu 27/3. I am holding all 12 King Studio rooms. Some have queens, some have two single beds.

Port Campbell caravan park has a sale on and if you book before 3/12/24 the rooms will be $110, otherwise $138. Other accommodation is also available in the Park and on sale for those interested in bigger cabins or sharing accommodation. I am only holding the 12 King Studio rooms.

Give my name and dates and pay directly to the Caravan Park. Ph No (03) 55986492

Once these rooms are gone members will need to then find their own accommodation in Port Campbell. As stated above, the Caravan Park does have larger cabins if required or other accommodation is available in Port Campbell.

Bookings for the ride will close 25/2/2024.

The plan at this stage is we would leave Sorrento on the 9.00 am ferry on the 26th.
